Automated data processing insurance industry gears data flow shields

Adeptia launches Accelerator Packs to automate insurance data

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

Adeptia has introduced new Accelerator Packs for its Adeptia Automate platform, aiming to streamline complex and historically manual data processes in the benefits and insurance sectors.

Sector focus

The new Accelerator Packs target three expensive and error-prone workflows: employee enrollment, evidence of insurability (EOI) processing, and health plan carrier switchovers. These packs are tailored for group health and life insurers, as well as benefits administration providers. They are designed to tackle challenges involved in managing high-variability partner data and reduce the reliance on spreadsheets and manual cleanup efforts.

Workflow solutions

The Employee Enrolment Accelerator automates the intake and processing of employee census and election data. This data often comes in inconsistent formats from employers, brokers, payroll vendors, and other partners. By automating this process, Adeptia aims to speed up onboarding, cut errors, and improve visibility across the enrollment process.

The EOI Accelerator focuses on standardising and validating medical questionnaires and health information. Insurers are expected to see reduced cycle times and risk, along with a smoother experience for both members and employers.

The Carrier Switchover Accelerator is designed to simplify the process of bringing on a new employer group, which typically requires significant manual work to consolidate and reconcile data from different carriers. The accelerator handles ingestion, normalisation, and validation, aiming to reduce administrative overhead and speed up revenue recognition for insurers and benefits administrators.

Operational efficiency

The packs draw on over 25 years of development and industry experience, encapsulating established data models, validation rules, and workflow logic into plug-and-play formats. Adeptia stated that its focus is on addressing the challenges of 'First-Mile Data'-the upstream information that often requires extensive manual preparation before it can be used for automation and artificial intelligence projects.

"Most health insurers and benefits administrators are still wrestling with spreadsheets, PDFs, and inconsistent data formats that don't work for complex workflows," said Charles Nardi, CEO, Adeptia.

The Accelerator Packs became available on the Adeptia Automate platform, as the company continues to develop solutions for data integration and management at enterprise scale.
