GTT has announced the appointment of Andrea Genschaw as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Genschaw joins the company with over twenty years of financial leadership experience, having worked extensively in the telecommunications and technology industries.

Prior to this role, Genschaw was Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Lumen Technologies. At Lumen, she was responsible for leading global accounting and finance operations, business intelligence, investment management, financial reporting, and compliance. Her previous experience also includes senior positions at Level 3 Communications, CenturyLink, PwC, and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Edward Morche, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of GTT, highlighted Genschaw's skills and industry experience as key assets to the company. He stated,

"I have had the opportunity to work with Andrea and have witnessed her exceptional ability to lead complex financial operations and enable strategic business execution. Her deep industry insight will be indispensable as we continue to drive value for our shareholders and stakeholders. I am delighted to welcome Andrea to the GTT team."

Taking up her appointment, Genschaw addressed the company's current trajectory and her priorities in the new role. She commented,

"I am incredibly excited to join GTT at this transformational time and look forward to working with the team to support our key initiatives. GTT has tremendous opportunities ahead, and I look forward to supporting our customers and partners to build upon our long-standing commitment to innovation and operational excellence."

Transition in the chief financial role follows the retirement of Tim Medina, who previously served as GTT's CFO. Morche extended his appreciation for Medina's contributions, saying,

"We also want to thank our retiring CFO, Tim Medina, who played an instrumental role in positioning GTT for success. We thank Tim for his partnership and dedication."

Genschaw's appointment is seen as part of a broader leadership focus on supporting the company's key initiatives and ongoing business transformation. During her career, she has managed high-level financial operations, financial reporting, and compliance at several organisations. Her experience also includes guiding strategic initiatives and supporting business execution at a global scale.

GTT operates as a managed networking and security provider for multinational organisations. The company delivers services such as SASE, SD-WAN, security, internet, voice, and other connectivity options. Its network infrastructure is based on a global Tier 1 network architecture and includes a platform providing visibility, insights, orchestration, and control for clients. GTT's customer base includes a range of international organisations focused on data and application connectivity requirements.

The appointment of Genschaw is intended to support GTT's operational and strategic objectives as the company focuses on delivering technology services and solutions to its clients worldwide.
