AWS celebrates top ANZ partners for cloud & AI innovation

Thu, 4th Dec 2025

AWS has recognised several Australia and New Zealand-based partners for their work in cloud and artificial intelligence services as part of its annual partner awards programme. Awards were presented to a range of technology and consulting firms for their contributions to customer success and specialised solutions built on AWS infrastructure.

Regional recognition

This year's AWS Partner Awards honoured a group of organisations from Australia and New Zealand across five key categories. The awards are based on criteria including customer success and technological expertise, with entries judged by a third party before selection.

Among those recognised, HCLTech received the Industry Partner of the Year award for Financial Services for its work with banks, insurers, capital market firms, and payment processors seeking cloud-based innovation. TechnologyOne secured the Public Sector Technology Partner of the Year award, acknowledging its support for government and nonprofit sectors with cloud solutions.

Consulting and innovation

6pillars.ai was awarded the Rising Star Partner of the Year (Consulting) for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This award identifies partners experiencing significant year-on-year business growth through consulting on AWS technologies.

Custom D received two categories of recognition: Innovation Partner of the Year and Social Impact Partner of the Year. The Innovation Partner of the Year category focuses on organisations delivering consulting and managed services, with an emphasis on customer experience across cloud environments and ongoing cloud management. The Social Impact award is presented to partners who use their resources and expertise to support positive societal change.

Selection process

All partners within the AWS Partner Network were invited to submit nominations. The award process included a focus on use cases that highlighted measurable customer outcomes. Submissions were evaluated independently, with winners announced across both regional and global levels.

Asia Pacific momentum

Chris Casey, Director of AWS Partnerships, Asia Pacific and Japan, highlighted the broader trend seen across the region.

"We are proud to celebrate the AWS Partners from Australia and New Zealand who are reimagining what's possible with cloud and AI innovation. The recognition of 6pillars.ai, Custom D, HCLTech, and TechnologyOne at the AWS re:Invent 2025 Partner Awards showcase the incredible momentum we're seeing across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. These partners exemplify what happens when we combine deep technical expertise with an unwavering focus on customer outcomes. Congratulations to this year's finalists and winners!" said Casey, Director of AWS Partnerships, Asia Pacific and Japan.
