Calero has won two 2026 CODiE Awards for the Calero Platform and Calero Market Data Management product. The awards recognise the company in IT management and financial data and analytics.

It won Best IT Management Solution for the Calero Platform and Best Financial Data & Analytics Solution for Calero Market Data Management, or MDM. The latest wins bring Calero's total CODiE Awards to eight, including a sixth in the financial data and analytics category and a second straight award for IT management.

The CODiE Awards are a long-running, peer-reviewed software awards programme. This year's winners were chosen from 228 finalists across 75 categories by independent industry experts.

Calero sells technology expense management software and says it serves more than 3,000 customers in 102 countries. Its products cover telecom management, mobility management, SaaS management and market data management.

Product focus

The Calero Platform combines telecom, mobility and SaaS management in one system. According to the company, it connects inventory, vendors, contracts, usage, invoices and automation tools so organisations can standardise operations and more closely track services, assets and spending.

MDM is aimed at financial institutions that need oversight of market data subscriptions and supplier arrangements. Calero says the software brings together inventory, subscriptions, contracts, entitlements, invoices and spending data in one place to improve billing accuracy, support compliance, simplify audits and manage vendor obligations.

Calero described the awards as recognition across both enterprise IT operations and financial governance. It says the products are designed to reduce manual work, improve oversight and support decisions on technology resources and spending.

The announcement follows Calero's recent designation as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms, adding to a broader period of external recognition for its software portfolio.

Executive reaction

Eric Martorano, President & CRO of Calero, commented on the awards and the company's product strategy.

"Today's enterprises need more than insight into increasingly complex technology environments, they need the ability to act on data intelligently, optimize spending, and execute faster," Martorano said. "Winning two CODiE Awards validates the innovation behind our platform but, more importantly, it reflects the measurable outcomes our customers achieve every day. Our focus is on giving organizations the intelligence and automation they need to move from insight to action, faster."

Calero has positioned that approach around linking technology asset records, services, vendors, contracts, invoices and usage data in a single operating framework. According to the company, the aim is to help customers move beyond tracking expenses and software licences toward tighter operational control of technology estates.

That framing reflects a wider trend among corporate IT and finance teams as organisations try to consolidate oversight of fragmented software, mobile, telecom and data-service spending. Companies face pressure to control costs, reduce administrative effort and improve compliance while managing a growing number of suppliers and contracts.

For financial institutions in particular, market data spending remains a specialist area of scrutiny because of the complexity of subscription terms, entitlement controls, invoicing and audit requirements. Software that centralises those functions has become a way for firms to gain better visibility into costs and supplier obligations.

The CODiE Awards organiser also highlighted the role of software vendors in tackling practical business issues.

"The 2026 CODiE Award winners represent some of the most innovative and impactful solutions in the industry," said Jennifer Baranowski, President of the CODiE Awards. "These organizations are solving meaningful challenges, delivering measurable outcomes, and helping shape the future of technology."
