Entersekt launches Orkestrate API to tackle USD $40 billion fraud risk
Entersekt has introduced Orkestrate, a single-API platform designed to streamline the integration of digital banking authentication for financial institutions. The company claims that by using Orkestrate, banks and credit unions can simplify the deployment of advanced fraud prevention and customer authentication journeys, reducing integration time by as much as 85%.

Financial institutions face increasing pressure from AI-driven scams, with projections suggesting losses could reach USD $40 billion globally by 2027. As fraud continues to evolve and affect sectors beyond logins and payment transactions, organisations must protect every interaction without causing undue friction for customers.
Traditionally, adding additional layers of security required banks to connect to multiple APIs and build out custom business logic for each user action. This approach demanded significant resources and often complicated both implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Orkestrate is designed to address these challenges by allowing institutions to connect through a single API, then activate over 150 pre-orchestrated authentication journeys across more than 10 distinct use cases. These include account access, money movement, high-risk profile changes, and contact centre identity verification.

According to Entersekt, Orkestrate delivers 98% frictionless logins, 90% reduction in peer-to-peer payment fraud, and 95% self-serve password resets. The company positions this reduction in operational workload as a key benefit for resource-constrained digital banking teams.
