Insi has gained SAP PartnerEdge Sell status in the United States and Canada, allowing it to sell SAP Cloud ERP software directly in both markets.

The move expands Insi's role in North America from implementation into direct software sales and support, as it pursues a regional growth plan backed by USD $5 million through 2030.

The dual-country accreditation gives Insi a single SAP commercial footprint across both markets. It also comes as SAP customers using older ERP systems face a shrinking window to move to newer platforms before mainstream support for SAP ECC ends, with paid extended support available only for a limited period afterward.

Mauricio Cabral, Director of SAP and Salesforce at Insi, said the decision reflects what Insi sees as a major replacement cycle in the region.

"For us, this move reflects where we see the greatest opportunity in North America," said Mauricio Cabral, Director of SAP and Salesforce at Insi. "We're backing that with real investment, because we believe North America is entering the most significant SAP renewal cycle it has seen in a generation."

Insi's North American plan brings its US and Canadian operations together into one regional business. The company aims to cover software sales, implementation, and long-term support under a single commercial arrangement.

Regional focus

The consultancy is focusing its SAP work on three sectors where it says it already has delivery experience and reference clients: oil, gas and energy; agribusiness; and mill products and mining.

Its priority US markets are Texas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. In Canada, the business is centred in Ontario and linked to the wider north-eastern corridor. That focus reflects where those industry groups are concentrated and where Insi believes migration demand is strongest.

Cabral said Insi expects continued demand across different SAP deployment models as customers weigh migration options.

"We will keep supporting Private Cloud migrations, but we see a promising market with the adoption of SAP Public Cloud, BDC and BAIP," he said.

Delivery record

Insi says it has more than 25 years of SAP delivery experience and holds SAP Gold Partner status in Brazil. It cited projects including a cloud ERP migration for a pharmaceuticals and healthcare customer that went live in seven months across more than 1,000 points of sale, four agribusiness ERP go-lives completed in four months, and a financial redesign project that cut a manufacturing client's month-end close from 10 days to two.

The company also highlighted a global ERP template deployed across nine countries with a peak team of 130 people. More recently, it completed 10 SAP go-lives in seven months, averaging about five months per project.

That implementation record forms part of Insi's pitch as it seeks a larger share of SAP migration work in North America. By adding direct sales authority in both countries, it aims to move further up the value chain in deals that previously required another partner to handle software licensing.

Unified operations

Marcos Machado, Managing Director of Insi's North American operations, said the accreditation changes the structure of the company's SAP relationship in the region.

"Reaching PartnerEdge Sell status in the United States and Canada at the same time gives Insi one unified footprint across North America, instead of two separate relationships with SAP," said Marcos Machado, Managing Director of Insi's North American operations. "It puts us in a position to be a long-term partner to our clients, not just for this migration, but for whatever they need next."

Insi employs more than 2,700 people across more than 25 countries and works with more than 200 clients globally. In Canada, it is also listed as a qualified IT supplier to the federal government.

The accreditation places Insi among SAP partners able to combine software sales with implementation services in both the US and Canada as companies assess migration plans ahead of legacy ERP support deadlines.
