LivTech strengthens leadership for senior care growth
LivTech has added two senior executives as it expands its healthcare software business focused on senior care, appointing Ron Kozlin as Chief Financial Officer and Andrew Goode as Vice President of Development.
The appointments follow several years of substantial growth, according to the company. LivTech described the hires as an investment in financial leadership and engineering management as demand rises for technology used by senior living operators, physicians, and in-home care organisations.
Chief Executive Officer Mike Scarbrough said the company has reached a point where it wants to strengthen leadership across finance and product development.
"These additions to our executive leadership team are a transformative step for LivTech," Scarbrough said. "After a period of rapid growth, we're at an opportune stage to shape the future of technology designed to transform aging care for seniors. Ron's financial insights and proven leadership will provide a strong foundation for the company's continued growth and scale. At the same time, Andrew's deep technical pedigree will ensure our products and solutions remain at the forefront of healthcare technological innovation."
Finance leadership
Kozlin will lead financial management and planning at LivTech, overseeing budgeting, reporting, organisational oversight, and long-term growth planning.
He brings more than 30 years of experience across software and technology companies, including healthcare technology, revenue cycle management, and software-as-a-service businesses.
Kozlin has held senior finance roles at Nextech Systems, ClarisHealth, Pilgrim Software, and Fortress Technologies. He also spent three years as a finance operating partner at Francisco Partners, including interim CFO assignments at Office Ally and Edifecs.
Scarbrough and Kozlin have worked together before. LivTech said this is their third professional collaboration, including at Nextech Systems, where they credited them with helping transform a healthcare software provider.
Engineering focus
Goode joins as Vice President of Development and will lead software engineering across LivTech's product set. His remit includes development processes, delivery management, and engineering team leadership.
He has more than 20 years of experience in software and SaaS, including hands-on development and architecture. He has also managed engineering teams in venture-backed and private equity-owned organisations and has held chief technology officer roles, according to LivTech.
The company said his priorities include improving product delivery and advancing the product roadmap, as well as internal efforts focused on learning and removing technical obstacles.
Product scope
LivTech sells software used in senior care settings. Its portfolio includes electronic health record systems for physicians, senior living communities, and in-home care organisations.
These systems cover patient record management, medication administration, care coordination, and reporting. The company also offers operational tools and products related to revenue cycle management, payments, and billing.
Technology providers serving senior care have faced shifting demand as operators seek software that meets the needs of an ageing population and a stretched care workforce. Operators also face pressure on occupancy, staffing, and regulatory compliance, which can drive interest in systems that standardise workflows and consolidate administrative tasks.
Building the bench
LivTech described the appointments as part of a broader shift from interim leadership arrangements to permanent executive roles, positioning the changes as preparation for its next stage of product development and market expansion.
The hires add experienced finance and engineering leaders alongside Scarbrough as LivTech continues to sell EHR and billing-related systems into senior living and related care settings.
