Rackspace Technology appoints new Senior Vice Presidents for AI push
Rackspace Technology has announced the appointment of two new Senior Vice Presidents. Lata Varghese steps in as Senior Vice President of Business Transformation. Phani Kishore Burre takes the role of Senior Vice President of Services and Delivery for Public Cloud. Both executives bring long-standing experience in technology services, business transformation, and cloud solutions to the company.
Leadership backgrounds
Lata Varghese has held senior positions managing global profit and loss responsibilities and leading technology consulting practices. Her recent role was Head of Solutions for the Americas at Randstad Digital. There, she helped guide the company's transition from a traditional onsite talent provider to a global technology solutions business. Varghese's sector expertise covers financial services, digital banking, payments, blockchain, and digital assets.
Phani Kishore Burre has over twenty years' experience supporting Fortune 100 clients across retail, healthcare, financial services, and life sciences. He was previously Managing Director and Global Practise Head for Digital Infrastructure at Brillio. In that capacity, he supported clients in accelerating their adoption of cloud and modernisation strategies and led efforts on integrating AI, including generative AI, within large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Business focus
The new appointments are intended to enhance execution of Rackspace's service delivery and business transformation strategies. Both Varghese and Burre are expected to play key roles in developing initiatives around artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud operations, and digital innovation for clients.
