Trading Technologies will add connectivity to OG.com on its trading platform, giving users access to Crypto.com's regulated prediction markets venue.

It will also support Crypto.com's new margin-based crypto futures contracts when they launch, expanding the products available through the platform beyond prediction markets.

The move adds another venue to Trading Technologies' push into US-regulated prediction markets, a segment drawing growing attention from trading firms and other institutional investors as exchanges broaden the range of contracts tied to political, economic, financial and cultural outcomes.

OG.com is Crypto.com's CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. Connectivity to the venue is scheduled to go live on the TT platform in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Trading Technologies, backed by Thoma Bravo and 7RIDGE, has its roots in listed derivatives and now provides software for execution, clearing, surveillance, post-trade allocation and analytics across several asset classes. Its clients include banks, brokerages, hedge funds, proprietary traders, Commodity Trading Advisors and commercial hedgers.

Crypto.com, founded in 2016, has been expanding its regulated market infrastructure as it builds out its digital asset and derivatives business. The OG.com brand is part of that effort, with North American Derivatives Exchange operating under the OG Prediction Markets and Crypto.com | Derivatives North America brands as a designated contract market and derivatives clearing organisation registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Market access

For Trading Technologies users, the addition means they can route orders to OG.com through the same interface they use for other listed and digital asset markets. The connection will sit alongside the platform's execution tools, clearing functions and margin capabilities.

Prediction markets have become a closely watched corner of the derivatives industry because they turn views on future events into tradable contracts. Supporters say the products create a venue for hedging and price discovery, while critics question how far event-based contracts should extend, particularly when they touch politically sensitive or socially contentious subjects.

Crypto derivatives have followed a parallel path into more formal market structures, as operators seek to offer products that fit within US regulatory rules and appeal to larger investors that require established clearing arrangements. Margin-based futures are central to that effort because they more closely resemble conventional derivatives markets than fully funded retail crypto products.

Steve Humenik, Chief Legal Officer of OG.com and EVP of Crypto.com, outlined the rationale for the partnership.

"As regulated prediction markets and digital asset derivatives continue to mature, providing institutional participants with secure, compliant and seamless access is paramount. Partnering with Trading Technologies allows us to effectively bring OG.com's innovative prediction markets products directly into the workflows of the world's leading market participants," said Steve Humenik, Chief Legal Officer of OG.com and EVP of Crypto.com.

Institutional demand

Trading Technologies framed the agreement as a response to client demand for broader access to regulated event contracts and digital asset derivatives through existing trading workflows.

"We are seeing a strong and growing appetite among our institutional clients to expand their participation in regulated prediction and digital asset markets. Our connection to OG.com directly addresses this demand, giving our clients the ability to utilise the full power of TT's execution and algorithmic trading tools alongside our clearing and margin optimisation solutions to efficiently trade and clear these products. This collaboration underscores our multi-X strategy, delivering robust technology across asset classes to help our clients manage risk effectively," said Alun Green, EVP, Managing Director, Futures and Options for TT.

The tie-up reflects a broader market-structure trend, as trading technology providers connect buy-side and sell-side participants to newer regulated venues without requiring separate infrastructure builds for each exchange. That can lower operational friction for firms seeking exposure to emerging products while still needing them to fit established compliance, margin and post-trade processes.

For Crypto.com, the arrangement offers a route into a customer base that already uses Trading Technologies for futures and options trading. For Trading Technologies, it broadens the range of venues available to clients at a time when exchanges are competing to list more specialised contracts and attract institutional order flow.

Connectivity to OG.com is due to be introduced on the TT platform in the fourth quarter of 2026, while support for Crypto.com's margin-based crypto futures contracts will be available at launch.
