Vieu has launched a business relationship mapping platform, the Business Graph, designed for business-to-business use by both people and AI systems.

The Seattle-based group describes it as a map of business relationships built from observed signals rather than user-submitted profiles. Those signals include shared work history, co-authored research, joint ventures, board affiliations and ongoing collaboration between individuals and companies.

Vieu is positioning the platform as a tool for sales, marketing, recruitment, fundraising and partnerships, where companies often depend on personal introductions and executive ties to open discussions or keep accounts on track. It says those links are often poorly captured by existing social and professional networking platforms, which tend to rely on declared connections rather than evidence of ongoing business contact.

That distinction is central to Vieu's pitch: the graph is built from relationships observed in business activity, creating what the company calls a live map of how companies and executives interact in practice.

"As AI agents become ubiquitous, the relationship between humans, ironically, becomes even more important," said Samir Manjure, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vieu. "Human-to-human trust has always been the cornerstone of commerce. Executive relationships underpin every deal, every renewal, every hire, every raise. The Business Graph makes that foundation visible for the first time."

The launch places Vieu in a market where software groups are trying to make business data more useful for generative AI tools. Companies are under pressure to provide structured, reliable information to AI assistants rather than rely on open web searches that can be inconsistent or slow.

Every person, company and relationship in Vieu's system is pre-indexed, allowing AI assistants to query the data directly. The company cited Claude and Gemini as examples of systems that can access verified relationship data through the graph.

Use cases

Organisations are using the graph to find executive paths into strategic accounts, support customer retention through executive engagement, improve senior recruitment with back-channel verification and secure investor introductions. Some customers also compare Vieu's relationship signals with LinkedIn Sales Navigator connections to judge whether a connection reflects a meaningful business relationship or a superficial online contact.

That focus on executive contact points reflects a long-standing issue in enterprise sales and account management. Revenue teams often try to formalise senior-level engagement in large deals, but the quality and depth of those relationships can be hard to measure across multiple functions and geographies.

One customer cited by Vieu is SambaNova. "Formally implementing executive touch points is essential to driving faster deal progression and more accurate forecasting with the teams I coach and lead," said Harry Ault, Chief Revenue Officer of SambaNova. "Vieu gives us repeatable structure and insight to apply that ETP motion not just in sales, but across the entire C-suite. It's been a game changer for driving cross-functional customer focus and engagement."

Backers and founders

Vieu said it has attracted backing from Trilogy, Vela Networks, Incubate Fund and 45 angel investors. It added that the angel group includes chief executives, founders and senior executives from Meta, Microsoft, Google and AWS.

The business was co-founded by Manjure and Simon Skaria. Manjure previously founded KenSci, which was acquired by Providence Group, and spent more than 17 years at Microsoft. Skaria previously founded Albits, which was acquired by ICICI, and Office365Mon, which was acquired by ZScaler. He also spent 16 years at Microsoft.

Skaria said the aim is to fit the product into existing working habits rather than force customers into a new interface. The Business Graph can be accessed through Vieu's own software application and through integrations with customer relationship management systems, email and Slack.

"Our approach is to meet customers where they are," said Simon Skaria, Co-Founder of Vieu. "Some teams want the Business Graph in a SaaS app. Others want it inside Claude or Gemini, and we snap to their choice. We are also integrated into CRM, email, and Slack. We never ask customers to change how they work, we change the value they get inside the tools they already use."
