OPmobility embraces Siemens software for efficiency boost

OPmobility has announced the adoption of Siemens Xcelerator's Teamcenter X, a cloud-enabled Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, to enhance its product design processes.

The partnership allows OPmobility to streamline its operations and improve efficiency across its 40 research and development centres globally. Teamcenter will serve as a single backbone for OPmobility, enabling the optimisation of work efficiency and reduction of lead times in the context of the evolving automotive industry demands.

Addressing the complexities in its product range, which now includes advanced electronics and software systems, OPmobility aims to enhance the development of intelligent exterior features, complex lighting systems, and energy storage solutions such as batteries and hydrogen electrification alongside traditional fuel tanks.
